The Monarto Sporting Facility is presently being used as a Monarto Zoological Park bus stop. Other features of this facility include an oval, hall, changerooms, barbecue facilities and a double level modular playground which includes a slippery dip, double swings and other climbing equipment.
The Monarto Sporting Complex is located on Schenscher Road Monarto.
People visting this site can exit the freeway at Monarto onto Ferris McDonald Road, follow Ferris McDonald Road through Monarto South and cross the old Princess Highway to Schenscher Road.
The general public is welcome to use these facilities at anytime - taking into consideration standing agreements over the complex as outlined below.
The Murray Valley Kennell Club use the complex for Dog Show activities on Saturdays and Sundays from March to September each year.
The Nairne Cricket Club uses the complex on Saturdays from 12.30pm to 7pm, from October to March.
The Monarto Sporting Complex can be hired out for functions, parties (excluding 18th or 21st birthdays) or meetings.
To hire the Monarto Sporting Complex please complete an Application To Hire Council Facility form and submit at the Local Government Centre or mail to PO Box 421 MURRAY BRIDGE SA 5253.
