" Tyson Matthews has been a business owner and resident of Murray Bridge for nearly 10 years.

A Biomedical Scientist by trade, Tyson and his wife Amanda opened and ran the GCS Café and Bakery in Murray Bridge from 2009 to 2015.

In 2016 Tyson opened a Sports Supplements store in Murray Bridge while undertaking a Master of Business Administration.

In 2014 Tyson joined the Council of the Rural City of Murray Bridge as an elected member, with policy focusing on small business support, financial transparency and management, economic development and footpath infrastructure.

During his term Tyson has sat on the Audit, Town Pride, Dog and Cat Management and Murray Bridge Business Alliance committees.

Tyson is a life member of the Rambler Football Club and is passionate about representing younger ratepayers at local government level to create a vibrant and prosperous community for future generations. “
